Our community is filled with love and support. We seek to enhance and nurture the spirit of community within our congregation by addressing the special needs of our congregants throughout challenging periods of their lives. The Rabbi, The Mitzvah Services Committee and Sisterhood each play a role in nurturing Hesed in the Temple Emanuel Community.
The Mitzvah Services Committee
The Mitzvah Services Committee was established in the early 1990’s and has found ways to provide financial support to congregants in times of extreme personal crisis. Committee members include Paul Wurtzel, Jessica Galloso, Rosa Mandelbaum, Sylvia Klein and Lori Goldman.
Please help us to help those families in need make it through their personal crises by making a generous contribution to the MITZVAH SERVICES FUND.Members may contact committee chair Paul Wurtzel, Rabbi Kogan, or any member of the Mitzvah Services Committee for assistance.
Sisterhood Caring Community Committee
Join our community of loving kindness. You can help congregants by visiting those who are ill or homebound, making Shiva calls, attending a Minyan, sending a card, preparing a meal and so much more. Whatever your talents, we always need more help. Please contact Martha Marcus to participate.

If you or someone you know is ill, recovering from surgery, homebound and would like a visitor please let us know. Please contact Martha Marcus.
